first time doing this. how should I know if she'll say yes? we laughed together a few times. is that enough? I really like her. she asked me about myself beyond what she needed to but I'm not sure if she was just curious

Next time you're around her just try to be yourself and feel out if the vibes are good, don't get stuck in your head. Then when you get the chance you should check her for signs of arousal, eg pheromones. Try to get up close and get a whiff of her, ideally near the armpits or scalp, and although the smell itself should be faint (or possibly covered by perfume or shampoo etc) if you find it turning you on that means they're there. The absolute best check though is if you can smell her seat. If she leaves the room just pretend you're tying your shoe and get your face within maybe 5-7 inches of where she was sitting and if getting a whiff turns you diamonds then it's a good sign the pheromones are there and she's into you and ask her to something casual like a coffee or a drink when she comes back.
